Roberto De Zerbi was born on June 6, 1979, in Brescia, Italy. He began his playing career with local club Brescia Calcio, making his debut in 1998.

Managerial Career

De Zerbi retired from playing in 2013 and began his managerial career as head coach of Foggia in 2014. He subsequently managed several Italian clubs, including Palermo, Benevento, and Sassuolo, before joining Brighton Hove Albion in the Premier League in 2022.

Under De Zerbi's leadership, Brighton achieved their highest ever Premier League finish in 2023-24. He will leave the club at the end of the season after a successful two-year spell.
